23 Mayfield Edinburgh Guesthouse Location and Directions

Location & Directions

23 Mayfield is near the foot of Salisbury Crags, which are a dramatic feature of Arthurs Seat. The Guest House offers easy access to most places of interest in Edinburgh such as Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament and Princes Street, which are all within a one mile radius.

We are also within easy reach of Edinburgh University , Pollock halls, Kings Buildings, Royal Observatory, Little France Hospital, Peffermill playing fields, the Royal Infirmary and the Scottish Parliament.

Arthur's Seat is a dormant volcano located within Holyrood Park which dominates the city and also is the highest of a series of peaks which take the form of a crouched lion (it is also sometimes referred to as Lion's Head). Also within the park is the Palace of Holyrood House which is the Edinburgh residence of the British Queen (though we believe she would rather stay at 23 Mayfield)! Salisbury Crags, which form part of Arthur's seat, are virtually on our doorstep and give great views of the historic old town of Edinburgh.
